The red and white color of the flag is derived from the Air Cavalry military flag: signifying blood over serenity. We prefer to die Defending our Nation’s Democracy, Sovereignty, Independence, Territorial Integrity, and Social Justice (Patriotism); before surrendering one speck of our Nation’s Territorial Integrity, Sovereignty, or its Principles.  
The blue line that divides the fiery red color (blood) over the White (surrender) represents Integrity that must always prevail for our Nation to be truly free. This blue line divides the Patriotic stand of our People as it demands Authenticity and Transparency from our Government. This Integrity border recognizes that men and institutions remain free only when freedom is founded upon respect for moral and spiritual values and upon the rule of law.
